About the Race:

Two days of racing in North Louisiana featuring a road race in hilly Rocky Mount, a three mile individual time trial along the Shreveport Riverfront, and a criterium at the Century Tel Center in Bossier City with a stage race format.

Course Description:

Saturday - Road Race: The race course begins and ends in Rocky Mount, a small village north of Bossier City, Louisiana. After 1 mile, the racers join a 13 mile loop and repeat. There are 4 right turns on the loop. After the required number of laps, the race ends in Rocky Mount. This is the same course used on Sunday of the 2005 & 2006 Omniums. The course has rolling hills and a tough finishing hill with great to good road surfaces.

Saturday - Time Trial: This flat, 3 mile, individual time trial will take place on Clyde Fant Parkway, on the Shreveport Riverfront. Riders will start at the Stoner Boat Launch and head north on an out-and-back course finishing on the Stoner overpass.

Sunday - Criterium: The crit course will be held at CenturyTel Center in Bossier City, just off the Arthur Teague Parkway. The 1.3 mile course is flat with a small rise mid way through the course. There are 4 right turns and excellent road surfaces.
